Creating a tournament in Poker Manager takes a few minutes. The configuration is organized in tabs: you can save and come back to edit any section until the tournament starts.
General information
In the first tab you set the tournament name, start date and time, starting stack and maximum number of players. This data appears on the monitor and in the club's public calendar.
Blind structure
You can attach an existing blind structure to the tournament or create a new one: levels with small blind, big blind, ante and duration, plus scheduled breaks. The structure becomes the tournament timer: during the live game, levels advance automatically.
If you don't know where to start, the rule of thumb is: first big blind around 1/150 of the starting stack, 25–50% increases per level, and a final big blind worth roughly 1/20 of the total chips in play.
Buy-in, re-buys, add-ons and re-entries
Each entry formula has its own tab:
- Buy-in: entry cost and the club's rake;
- Re-buy: until which level it is allowed, at what price and with how many chips;
- Add-on: typically available at the break, with its own chip amount;
- Re-entry: whether an eliminated player can re-enter and until when.
The prize pool updates automatically as you record entries and top-ups.
Payout structure
The payout structure is calculated in real time based on entries: you see a preview of the paid positions and amounts while you configure. You can use the suggested curve or customize the percentages.
Leaderboards
If your club has an active leaderboard, link the tournament from the dedicated tab: at the end of the tournament, points are awarded automatically according to the configured formula.
Starting the tournament
At start time, launch the tournament from the panel: the timer starts, the venue monitor updates, and from that moment you manage everything live — late registrations, eliminations, tables and breaks. For seat management during the live game, use the table map in the management panel.
