Setting up the display monitor

Display monitor · 2 min read

The display monitor is the page you project on the venue TV: timer, current blinds, next level, prize pool, eliminations and much more, updated in real time without ever reloading the page.

Opening the monitor at the venue

Each tournament has a public link with a secret token: without the exact link, nobody can see the monitor. Open the link in the TV browser (or any screen: smart TV, tablet, PC connected to a projector) and switch to full screen. Nothing to install.

The grid designer

From the management panel you can customize the monitor layout with the drag-and-drop designer:

  • the page is divided into a configurable grid;
  • in each cell you drop one of the available widgets (more than 30): level clock, small/big blind, ante, next level, prize pool, players left, average stack, eliminations, bubble, payouts, elapsed time and more;
  • every widget can be freely resized and repositioned.

The included preset covers the most common case (large timer in the center, blinds and tournament info on the sides), but you can start from there and adapt it to your room.

Theme and colors

The monitor colors and theme are customizable per organization, so the display reflects your club's identity. The logo uploaded in the organization settings appears on the monitor.

Sounds

The monitor can play configurable audio announcements: level change, break start and end, table closing. You enable and customize them from the organization settings.

Multiple screens

The same link can be opened on several screens at once: they all stay in sync. If the TV connection drops, the monitor realigns itself to the current tournament state as soon as it comes back.
